
A high fidelity prototype, a Launch plan, detailing a strategy for marketing
Client: Mentor Sweden is a non-profit organization that since its inception in 1996 has worked with mentoring for young people. Their vision is a world where young people can grow and develop healthily with a guiding hand by their side. Where inspiration, a desire for a better future and hope is found.
Brief : Mentor Inspo Digital was a new digital concept for Mentor that they needed help in defining. They wanted a complete solution of the on-demand platform in terms of a visual concept, functionality, content and a long-term strategy. The specific deliverables they wanted were A high fidelity mockup of the Mentor inspo platform, an overview of the page structure, a launch plan that detailed a strategy for marketing and implementation of the platform and finally, recommendations for future developments.
Solution: So through extensive research through interviews with young people, previous mentors, experts within youths and adulting, Malin Gutestam a brain scientist and author of Brain Tools for Teens and a couple of surveys we had gathered a lot of useful insights for our project. We found needs and pains that the youths were experiencing which then lead us to our ideating phase where we tried finding creative solutions. During this stage we also did marketing research, for the strategy we were delivering as well. After a lot of researching, strategising, prototyping and analyzing we created A high fidelity mockup of the Mentor inspo platform both for the web and for A phone browser, a flow chart overviewing the page structure, we curated content for the platform, a launch plan that detailed a strategy for marketing of the platform, future recommendations and we also gave them a template to further continue with their marketing strategies. My area of focus was the marketing strategy, creating the launchplan, creating the reusable launch plan templates, as i was the groups brand strategist.
